Today, we had the privilege of volunteering with the EDGE Program, engaging with a bright and curious group of students from Shoalhaven High School. It was an inspiring day filled with meaningful conversations and valuable connections.
As part of the session, we spoke with students about careers in allied health — exploring the wide range of opportunities in this essential sector, from physiotherapy and occupational therapy to speech pathology and beyond. It was fantastic to see their interest and thoughtful questions about how they might pursue these paths in the future.
As usual, we loved showing off some of our favourite assistive technology and sensory aids. These tools not only sparked curiosity but also helped the students understand how technology can empower individuals to live more independently and comfortably. Demonstrating these supports is always a highlight for us — they bring to life the real-world impact of allied health work.
Programs like EDGE play a vital role in bridging the gap between education and employment, and we’re proud to support their mission of empowering young people with real-world insights and guidance.
A big thank you to the EDGE team and Shoalhaven High for having us, and to all the students who made today so enjoyable.
