A Festive Morning Tea, Creativity, and Connection at South Coast Therapy & Support Group

The Christmas season is a special time at South Coast Therapy & Support Group, and this year’s celebrations were filled with warmth, laughter, and a strong sense of community. Today, we were delighted to welcome parents and carers to our annual Christmas Morning Tea — a heartfelt tradition that gives families a chance to slow down, enjoy a treat, and connect with our team in a relaxed, festive environment.

A Morning Tea Filled With Gratitude and Togetherness

Our Parent and Carer Christmas Morning Tea is one of our favourite events of the year because it celebrates the incredible people who support our clients every single day. It was wonderful to see families come together, share stories, and enjoy some well-deserved time out during what is often a very busy season.

These gatherings remind us of why we do what we do. Every biscuit, every conversation, and every smile reflected the strong relationships that make our service community-centred and deeply connected.

The Great Christmas Door Competition

Of course, Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a little friendly competition — and our team brought their creativity to life in this year’s Christmas Door Competition! Each clinic door was transformed into a festive masterpiece, showcasing everything from classic Christmas imagery to imaginative holiday themes.

This year, we invited one of our clients to take on the official and very important role of judge. Their joy, enthusiasm, and thoughtful decision-making brought an extra sparkle to the event and reminded us how meaningful it is to involve our clients in the fun.

And the Winner Is… OT Jill!

A huge congratulations goes to OT Jill, who took out first place with her charming Rudolph-themed door. Complete with festive colours, clever details, and plenty of Christmas spirit, Jill’s design stood out as a clear favourite.

Her creativity not only brought holiday cheer to the clinic but also inspired plenty of smiles from team members, clients, and visitors alike.

Why Events Like This Matter

At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we believe in celebrating the big moments, the small wins, and everything in between. Events like our Christmas Morning Tea and Door Competition strengthen our relationships with families, create a joyful environment for clients, and bring our team even closer together.

They’re also a reminder that therapy isn’t just about sessions and goals — it’s about community, connection, and creating meaningful experiences.

Thank You to Our Community

To all the parents, carers, and clients who joined us today: thank you for filling our clinic with Christmas cheer. Your continued trust and partnership mean the world to us, and we’re so grateful to walk alongside you and your families each year.

From all of us at South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we wish you a safe, joyful, and restorative Christmas season. We look forward to supporting you again in the new year.
