At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we’re excited to announce the expansion of our team and clinic spaces, allowing us to welcome new referrals for occupational therapy and speech pathology across a broader range of areas than ever before.
Whether you’re a GP, support coordinator, case manager, family member, or a potential client, we’re here to support you — and now with faster access and greater capacity across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions.
✅ What Services Are Now Available?
With our team growth and additional clinic rooms now operational, we can offer increased appointment availability for:
Occupational Therapy (OT)
We’re now accepting referrals for occupational therapy in the following areas:
Shoalhaven (Nowra, Bomaderry, Huskisson, Vincentia, Sanctuary Point, Ulladulla and surrounding areas)
Illawarra (Shellharbour, Albion Park, Oak Flats, Warilla, Dapto, Port Kembla, Wollongong and surrounding areas)
Our OT services support:
NDIS participants (children and adults)
DVA clients
Aged Care clients
Private paying clients and Medicare referrals
Common OT supports include functional assessments, therapy for everyday living skills, assistive technology, minor home modifications, and more.
Speech Pathology
We’ve expanded our speech therapy services across the Shoalhaven, covering:
Nowra, Bomaderry, Culburra, St Georges Basin, Vincentia, Huskisson, and surrounding areas
Our speech pathologists support:
Children with communication delays or disorders
NDIS clients requiring assessments or ongoing therapy
Adults with acquired communication or swallowing difficulties
Aged Care clients referred through HCPs or private sources
📞 What Happens After a Referral?
We understand that timely support matters — that’s why we aim to schedule an initial phone consultation within 1–3 weeks of receiving your referral.
This 30min minute consult gives you (or your client/family member):
The chance to speak directly with a therapist
An opportunity to discuss concerns and goals
Clarity about what supports are available
Guidance on the next steps in the therapy journey
After the phone consultation, we’ll schedule an initial assessment at your preferred clinic location or in the community (depending on your needs and funding).
