At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we value the feedback of our clients and community. Our clients have told us that booking appointments can be difficult. This may be because they are working and unable to make calls during the day, their disability impacts their ability to make phone calls, or our admin team is busy helping other clients. Others have reported that there are long wait lists for therapy, which can be frustrating when support is needed quickly. We know that early intervention improves outcomes, so we have been busily improving our systems to cut down the waiting time to access supports. These changes are designed to make accessing our services smoother, more flexible, and more responsive to your needs.


Online Bookings with HotDoc


We’ve partnered with HotDoc to make booking appointments quick and simple. This means:


  • New clients can now book directly with a therapist for an initial phone call.

  • These calls are usually 30 minutes long, giving you time to discuss your needs, ask questions, and plan the next steps.

  • Following this call, we can arrange a formal assessment tailored to your goals.

  • There is typically availability within 1–2 weeks, so you won’t be left waiting too long to get started.


For ongoing clients, HotDoc also makes it easy to manage bookings. You can now schedule, reschedule, or check your upcoming appointments at a time that works best for you—without having to call the clinic.


Regular 3-Month Therapist Reviews


We know that progress is best supported with regular check-ins. That’s why every client now has a therapist review scheduled every 3 months. These sessions give you a chance to:


  • Talk through your progress.

  • Share any challenges you’ve faced.

  • Adjust therapy goals and plans to match your evolving needs.


Of course, these reviews are in addition to your regular therapy sessions, especially if you’re part of an ongoing therapy program.


Oversight from Our Clinical Director


To ensure high-quality and consistent care, every client’s journey is overseen by our Clinical Director. This means you may receive letters, updates, or recommendations about your therapy supports. These communications are designed to make sure your care is on track and aligned with your goals.
