At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we’re passionate about nurturing the next generation of allied health professionals, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to welcome Sophie from the University of Canberra to our team for her speech pathology placement.

From the moment she arrived, Sophie brought with her a warm, positive attitude and a clear passion for helping others. Her enthusiasm for learning and her thoughtful approach to client care made her a wonderful fit for our team culture and values.

Throughout her time with us, Sophie demonstrated a keen interest in supporting clients across a variety of needs, showing great initiative, compassion, and professionalism. She integrated seamlessly with our clinicians and allied health assistants, contributing meaningfully to sessions and engaging enthusiastically with our team training and clinic activities.

We strongly believe in the value of clinical placements—not only as an important part of a student’s education, but as a way for our team to grow, reflect, and continue learning together. Sophie reminded us why we love doing what we do, and we are so grateful she chose us as part of her learning journey.
