Building Connections for Better Client Care: Our Visit to PhysioHealth in Corrimal

Today, our Occupational Therapy team had the pleasure of visiting PhysioHealth in Corrimal. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the incredible work their physiotherapy and exercise physiology teams are doing, and to see firsthand the welcoming clinic space they have created.

One of the highlights of the visit was when our own OT Jill had the chance to try out virtual reality therapy—a great example of how innovative technologies are being used in rehabilitation to make therapy both effective and engaging.

We also enjoyed meeting with other therapists from across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. These opportunities to connect and collaborate with like-minded professionals strengthen the links between services in our region and allow us to better understand the different programs and supports available.

For us, the ultimate goal of visits like this is to improve outcomes for our clients. By building relationships with local providers and learning about their services, we can make more informed referrals and ensure that each client has access to the supports they need to thrive.

We are grateful to the PhysioHealth team for welcoming us into their space today, and we look forward to working together to create even stronger networks of care across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
