The South Coast Therapy & Support Group team had an incredible day attending the Party in the Precinct event for the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) at the Dunn & Lewis Centre in Ulladulla. This vibrant community event brought together local providers, families, participants, and community members to celebrate inclusion, connection, and the strengths of people with disability across our region.
From start to finish, the atmosphere was full of energy, music, and meaningful conversations — a perfect celebration of community spirit and collaboration. 💙
🤝 Connecting With Local Providers and Community Members

One of our favourite parts of the day was reconnecting with local organisations and providers who share our passion for supporting people of all ages and abilities. Events like this remind us how strong, welcoming, and collaborative the South Coast community truly is.
We also had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people who stopped by to say hello, learn more about our services, or simply have a chat. Your stories and smiles made our day!
🎅 A Special Visitor: Santa!

The event was made even more festive with a surprise visit from Santa himself! 🎅✨
Families and children were absolutely delighted, and it added an extra touch of Christmas magic to the day.
🎵 Key Word Sign Christmas Carols With Chris
A highlight for our team was watching our Speech Pathologist, Chris, share his skills and joy by teaching Christmas carols in Key Word Sign.
Visitors loved joining in, learning new signs, and seeing how inclusive communication can support connection during the holiday season. Chris brought so much fun and energy — and many people told us it was their favourite part of the event! 🎄🤟✨
💙 Proud to Be Part of an Inclusive Community

We are always grateful for opportunities to connect with our community, raise awareness, and celebrate the strengths and individuality of people with disability. Days like this reinforce why we do what we do — supporting people to live meaningful, engaged, and fulfilling lives.
Thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, and to everyone who came along to celebrate with us. We loved being part of it!
