Celebrating Recognition at the Business Illawarra Awards

This past week, we were honoured to attend the Business Illawarra Awards, where Claire was recognised as a finalist in the Business Leader category. Her journey to the finals began earlier this year when she proudly won the Business Leader award at the Shoalhaven Business Awards. While she didn’t take home the Illawarra win this time, being acknowledged alongside so many incredible business leaders and organisations from across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven was an achievement in itself.
The evening was a true celebration of business excellence in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. It was inspiring to see the diverse range of industries represented, all making such a strong impact in their communities. For our team, it was a proud moment to see Claire’s leadership acknowledged at such a prestigious level.
Celebrating with BCR
The night also gave us the chance to celebrate with the amazing team at BCR, where both Claire and Nathan proudly serve on the board. BCR was a finalist in two categories, and it was wonderful to come together and support them as part of the broader business community.
Recognition for Shoalhaven Businesses
It was also fantastic to see so many Shoalhaven businesses represented and celebrated on the night. We were especially proud to see the Shoalhaven Business Chamber recognised as the Best Business Chamber in the region. Nathan serves on the Chamber committee, and we are so grateful to be actively involved in such a dedicated and supportive organisation. Being part of the Chamber gives us the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow alongside so many other passionate local businesses.
A Night of Inspiration
While awards are one way to recognise success, the evening was about more than just trophies. It was about celebrating collaboration, innovation, and the impact that local businesses have on people’s lives. We left the event feeling inspired and motivated to continue building on the work we do at South Coast Therapy & Support Group and beyond.
